The Zanzibar Public Service Commission has announced new job openings for the Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries . This ministry plays a key role in managing marine resources, fisheries, and oil and gas energy to grow the economy of Zanzibar.

Vacancies Advertised

A total of various positions have been announced for the Unguja and Pemba areas as follows:

Oil and Gas Economic Assessment Officer Grade II: Position 1 (Unguja).

Assistant Fisheries Officer Grade III: Position 8 (Pemba).

Civil Engineer Grade II: Position 1 (Unguja).

Assistant Fisheries Officer Grade III: Position 10 (Unguja).

General Characteristics of the Applicant

To be considered for these positions, you must have the following qualifications: 

Be a Zanzibari citizen not exceeding 46 years of age. 

Have original academic certificates.

Bachelor's degree (for Oil, Gas and Engineering Officers) or Diploma (for Assistant Fisheries Officers) from institutions recognized by the Government.

Good computer skills.
